My name is Michelle Barnhart. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2001. I have over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, and a great love of the adventurous outdoor Utah lifestyle. I have lived, worked and adventured all over Utah for the past 17 years. My interests are many, they include hiking, horseback riding, camping, snow shoeing, kayaking, yoga, boxing and shooting. I also love dining, music, travel, a good book and time spent with people that I care about. I started my first business, a private massage practice in 2012 after spending many years working for the resorts in Park City. I owned and operated my practice for six successful years before selling it to try my hand at another business idea I had been thinking about.
My inspiration for starting a Personal Concierge Business came from my love of the Park City/Heber Valley area and of supporting our local business owners as well as my love of travel. I first came up with this idea out of the frustration that I would experience when I would do research and book travel for myself. The hours that I would spend on-line reading reviews and trying to decide which places to stay and activities would I most enjoy. Only to find out in some cases that the description of a property or the level of service or quality of an experience just wasn’t as advertised.
I also have a great love of helping to support local business. I am endlessly inspired by people who make the choice to follow their dreams. Opening a small business is a great risk and takes a lot of courage. I love seeing people achieve their goals. If I get to have a bit of a hand in helping them realize their dream while I am chasing mine, then that keeps me happy and motivated.
